Telfa AMD Antimicrobial Island Dressing is a sterile, nonadherent wound dressing impregnated with PHMB (polyhexamethylene biguanide) to provide antimicrobial protection. Its island design offers wound coverage while helping minimize disruption during dressing changes.

The dressing helps resist bacterial colonization and reduce bacterial penetration while providing protection against a broad spectrum of gram-negative, gram-positive, and fungi/yeast microorganisms. It is designed to provide antimicrobial performance without negatively impacting epithelialization.
