The McKesson Mini In-Line Heat and Moisture Exchanger (HME) is designed to provide effective short-term airway humidification for adult patients using ventilators or anesthesia circuits. Featuring a compact design and true hygroscopic condensing humidifier (HCH) performance, this HME delivers high moisture output and low breathing resistance for tidal volumes between 150 mL to 1000 mL.
Its clear housing offers a quick visual of humidification levels, while the integrated gas sampling port with Luer lock connection allows for easy and secure end-tidal CO₂ monitoring. Free of harmful chemicals, the moisture-trapping membrane is treated with physiologically safe calcium chloride for safe, efficient humidification.
