Made from a specialized blend of collagen, sodium alginate, carboxymethylcellulose (CMC), and EDTA, this sterile dressing helps maintain an optimal moist wound environment while effectively managing exudate.

When exposed to wound drainage, the dressing transforms into a soft gel that provides a cooling, soothing effect to enhance patient comfort. Collagen and EDTA work together to target and deactivate excess matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs), which can delay healing in chronic wounds. Meanwhile, alginate and CMC help absorb wound drainage while supporting the formation of granulation tissue and epithelialization.

These sterile 4 x 4 inch sheets can be trimmed to fit the wound precisely and may be layered to manage deeper wounds. The dressing is suitable for a wide range of wound types including pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers, venous ulcers, donor and graft sites, abrasions, traumatic wounds, surgical wounds, and first- or second-degree burns.
