Aquacel Ag Advantage Surgical Silver Hydrofiber Dressing is a sterile postoperative dressing designed for surgical wounds and incisions. It features a highly absorbent Hydrofiber wound contact pad containing 1.2% ionic silver, along with EDTA and Benzethonium Chloride, and is reinforced with nylon and elastane.

The central Hydrofiber pad absorbs and retains serosanguinous leakage and transforms into a soft gel that helps maintain a moist wound environment. A hydrocolloid adhesive layer provides secure, skin-friendly adhesion, while the outer polyurethane film creates a waterproof bacterial and viral barrier when the dressing remains intact and without leakage.
